Opportunities
Roofing Estimator:
Responsibilities Include:
- Attending new construction and re-roofing site meeting.
- Communicating with Facility managers, Consultants and building owners regarding Service.
- Providing fast accurate pricing for all roofing projects noted above.
- Assembling detailed quotations and budget reports.
- Develop new client relationships while maintaining our current client base.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High school diploma, College degree is a plus.
- 3+ years roofing estimating experience.
- Knowledge of various flat roofing systems.
- Ability to read and comprehend specifications and contract documents.
- Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to present information to clients, consultants and company employees when needed.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions provided in written and orally to deal with problems in a creative manner.
- Must be a self-motivated person with the ability to work at a fast paced professional level.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license with clean abstract
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Service Roofing Foreman:
Responsibilities Include:
- Repair, waterproof and provide maintenance for roofs demonstrating a leadership role.
- Trouble shoot service and leak calls
- Communicate with clients, consultants and facility managers in a professional fashion
- Execute warranty repairs as per industry standard
- Complete digital reports using Solid Seal Group’s software
- Complete timecards for co-workers using Solid Seal Group’s software
- Conduct/participate in job site safety meetings/toolbox talks
- Perform all work in accordance to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
- Maintain personal and team safety on job sites
- Communicate with the office staff whenever necessary
Skills/Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of flat roofing experience (preferably service)
- Must be a team player who is dependable and reliable
- Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, high energy environment.
- Weight handling can be over 45kg
- On site work environment is outdoors and subjected to all weather conditions.
- Work environment is on the roof and/or on the grounds that are dusty and noisy.
- Worker must wear necessary Protective Equipment including but not limited to Safety Boots.
- Own transportation is an asset
- Ability to learn and follow our safety policy
- Intermediate English skills

Service Technician:
Responsibilities Include:
- Repair, waterproof and provide maintenance for roofs.
- Assist in trouble shooting service and leak calls
- Assist the Service Foreman with tasks when necessary
- Ensure all necessary tools and material is on the roof to execute the work
- Keep the Service Truck stocked with necessary materials and clean
- Communicate with the Service Foreman about items not available.
- Participate in job site safety meetings/toolbox talks
- Perform all work in accordance to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations
- Maintain personal and team safety on job sites
Skills/Qualifications:
- 2+ Years of flat roofing experience (preferably service)
